Book collection for children with educational or physical needs

Central Library has a new book collection in the Children's Library.

It is a collection of books intended for use with children ages eight and under, who have educational or physical needs. Included are books with lift-the-flaps, pop-ups, 'touchy feely', large typeface and also books recommended by Special Schools within Coventry.

The collection is placed next to the parents' collection and is identified by this logo on the spine: SP

Please only take two books from this collection if your child doesn't have a recognised special need, to allow children who do, to have a wider choice of books.
