Godiva's in the Undercroft

Godiva's at St. Mary's Guildhall

Located in the magnificent, vaulted undercroft of St. Mary's Guildhall, Godiva's offers a wonderful, historic setting for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. Just a short stroll from Coventry's bustling shopping district, Godiva's is a haven for relaxation and friendly service, the perfect place to unwind and soak up the atmosphere. Find us opposite the Cathedral ruins on Bayley Lane.

Head chef, Nigel Elvin, and his team have a wide selection of freshly prepared food available everyday at competitive prices. In addition, tasty and filling daily specials are selected and prepared in the medieval kitchen that has catered for royalty and fed starving weavers.

Godiva's is fully licensed, and we are pleased to offer Fairtrade tea and coffee. We also cater for children who are offered their own menu, with high chairs available for our youngest guests. Special dietary requirements can be catered for and vegetarian options are always included on our menus.

A fish dish is served on Fridays, whilst on Wednesdays you can enjoy our ever-popular, and great value, carvery, for which booking is advisable. You can download our menus by clicking on the links at the bottom of the page.

We are open from 10.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday for snacks, with hot meals served between 12noon and 2.00pm. There is disabled access and staff will gladly assist with wheelchairs or baby buggies. Tables can be booked in advance - just contact us using the details below. We look forward to welcoming you.

New for Autumn 2008 is the 'Guildmaster's Choice', an exciting new range of dishes on the specials' menu, prepared using produce exclusively sourced from local farms and suppliers.

Feeling Festive? Bookings are now being taken for our popular Christmas lunch, available from 1st December to 23rd December. Click on the link at the bottom of the page to view this year's delicious menu.
