Rubbish, waste and recycling
This area of the site tells you the ways in which the council deals with the rubbish produced in Coventry.
Household waste
Bin collections
Looking for your bin collection day? Then follow the link to our household waste collection map, which shows rubbish collection areas and days.
Recycling
We run a kerbside paper recycling collection scheme and a kerbside garden waste collection scheme.
Download the recycling collection calendar to find out if this week is a garden waste or a paper and cardboard collection week.
Search for your nearest recycling bank by postcode.
You can also find out about composting, water butts, and real nappies.
Bulky waste collections
You can take bulky waste to the London Road Tip or you can arrange for a bulky waste collection.
Domestic skip hire
We offer a skip service for your domestic property, which is for all general household items.
Commercial waste
We offer commercial waste and clinical waste collection services, and there are also arrangements in place to deal with hazardous waste in the city.
Public Waste Recycling and Disposal Facility (The Tip)
You can recycle and dispose waste at the Public Waste Recycling and Disposal Facility (The Tip).
