Large or bulky items

If you have a large item you wish to dispose of, we offer a special collection at a small charge.

What service do we provide?

We can collect, for a small charge, any bulky household waste that you might have. Alternatively, you can dispose of these items yourself by taking them to the Public Waste Recycling and Disposal site (the tip).

What can I have collected?

For the charges quoted below, we will collect five large items (wardrobe, settee etc) or ten smaller items (electric fire, microwave etc). A quote is required if the collection consists of more items than this.

Fridge, freezer, TVs and computer monitors disposal

Collection of fridges and freezers, TVs and computer monitors cannot be included in the bulky waste order but must be paid as a separate order.

For removal of fridges/freezers from domestic properties there is a charge of £24.58 per unit with a reduced rate of £16.50.

How much will it cost?

The basic minimum charge is £24.58.

A reduced charge of £16.50 is available for people who are on:

• State pension
• State benefits.(eg Job Seekers' Allowance, Housing Benefit, Disability Allowance)

Payment is required before the work can be scheduled.

How do I pay?

A debit or credit card payment can be made over the phone; call Coventry Direct on 0500 834333.

When payment is made you will be advised of the date the collection will be made.
