Commercial Waste and Recycling

The Commercial Waste & Recycling section is a division within City Services and is one of the largest waste collection contractors working within the Coventry area. We can offer collections of all different types of waste in most types of containers which ever suits the customer's requirements from wheeled bins of all sizes through skips to Rolonoff’s, Compactors & Balers. Clinical waste collection is also available.

Waste collection

We can offer advice over the telephone or we can visit your site to ascertain your waste collection and recycling requirements. We will look at the waste streams and try to recycle most of it and the waste that can not be recycled will be taken for incineration and turned into energy. Waste that can not be incinerated will be taken to landfill.

Clinical Waste

Clinical waste is any waste which poses a threat of infection to humans the term also includes drugs or other pharmaceutical products. We can collect from any establishment such as hospitals, clinics, dentists, vets, nursing and residential homes and domestic homes.

Cost

Business rates do not cover the cost of waste collection from commercial premises, please contact us for advice on waste collection and recycling services available with a competitive quote.

Business waste disposal – Your legal requirements

All businesses have a legal responsibility to store and dispose of their waste correctly.

All businesses must ensure that the person removing waste on their behalf from their premises is either from the local authority or a licensed waste collection company. They will be authorised to remove, transport and dispose of waste safely. The business must comply by completing a controlled waste transfer note supplied by the waste collector.
