History of Foleshill:
The name Foleshill is derived from 'Folkeshull' meaning "the people's meeting place on the hill'. This could have been a Saxon 'moot mound', where locals would gather for the folk moot or gathering.

Paradise 'Scoop the Poop' Agreement
The Paradise Community Action Group in the Paradise neighbourhood of Foleshill has worked hard over the last 12 months to build a really successful 'Scoop the Poop' agreement. This has involved Groundwork as the support organisation, but mainly the residents have worked closely as a group and as a set of streets to actively improve their area. New bins have been put in and bollards to stop parking on a green space. They are now working towards a community recycling programme including alleyway clearance.
