Statement of Accounts

The format reflects the requirements of the Accounting Code of Practice published by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA). The main sections of the Statement of Accounts are the statement of accounting policies and the main financial statements.

The statements are audited by independent auditors, to ensure that they present fairly the financial position of the council. Our external auditors are The Audit Commission.
