Coventry City Council is committed to making sure that local people receive the best possible services. We are here to work for the people of Coventry and to work as efficiently as we can to improve the quality of life for everyone.
Our Vision for Coventry
The Plan sets out the city's vision for Coventry, which is for Coventry to be:
.... a growing accessible city where people choose to live, work and be educated and businesses choose to invest.
The Corporate Plan sets out the strategic direction and improvement priorities for Coventry City Council for the three years from 2008/09 - 2010/11. It shows how the council plans to work to deliver the city's vision for Coventry by providing leadership; delivering services and through working closely with our partners and local people. It builds on and updates the council's previous Corporate Plan, reflecting the progress we have made over the last twelve months.
This year's plan is organised into two parts:
Part One - Our Priorities provides an overview
of what the council aims to achieve and improve
Part Two - Measuring Progress sets
out in detail how we will measure our progress against our priorities
