Charter Avenue and Wildcroft Road resurfacing

The resurfacing work in Charter Avenue, in front of Canley crematorium, has been brought forward to Wednesday 3 March (it was formerly scheduled for 15 March). Appropriate signs will be erected to direct motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.
Also, resurfacing work on Wildcroft Road will begin on Friday 5 March 2010. -
Operation 'Fill it' update

The number of potholes reported to Coventry Direct (week ending 26 February) was 397, and over 1,600 holes were repaired by the infrared and conventional processes city-wide. This brings the total to over 9,000 in the last six weeks.

Banner Lane closed for road repair works

Banner Lane closed this morning to allow for highway repairs to be carried out. The road is likely to be closed until Thursday 4 March 2010 from its junction with Tile Hill Lane to its junction with Broad Lane to to allow for road repair works to be undertaken safely.
Lowest council tax rise in 13 years

Bin collections - Friday 19 February 2010

The bin lorries have gone out as normal today, though there may be some difficulties getting down some side roads. As the snow is thawing the lorries will go out again until the rounds are completed. Please put bins out as normal and leave out for today until they are collected.
