What do we offer?

Coventry Benefits Advice Line is a telephone and interviewing service provided by Coventry City Council offering free advice, information and assistance on all welfare benefits. It is an independent service and not part of Housing Benefits or Council Tax.

Customers can be assured of a prompt, friendly and efficient response to any queries connected with welfare benefits. If we are unable to assist you we can refer you to another agency by obtaining your permission and making an appointment for you.

Who do we help?

Our service is available to anyone living in Coventry.

How do I arrange to see an advisor?

If you have a query regarding welfare benefits your first step is to telephone us. Our lines are openĀ five days a week and we are confident that our staff will resolve many queries without the need for an interview.

Should an interview or home visit be required this can be arranged. We offer interviews to complete benefit claim forms, particularly Attendance Allowance and Disability Living Allowance.

Is the service confidential?

Our service is completely confidential. No information will be passed to another organisation or individual unless you give us permission to do so.
